The current “Landscapes” exhibit at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis includes work by two members of the Saint Paul Camera Club: Steve Simmer and Marc Ye.
The opening is reception was delayed until January 31, so there’s still time to attend!
The exhibit runs through February 14.
Steve’s image “Falling Mono” will be familiar to regular salon attendees, as it was an award winner in the December salon.
Steve captured this image at William O’Brien State Park on a foggy morning walk along the St. Croix River. He noticed the forces of Nature at work on these trees, with three trees in various stages of “falling” slowly – very slowly. “When I return next year, this scene will have changed.”
Marc Ye’s entry in the Praxis exhibit is “Saksun,” an image he captured in the Faroe islands.
