Is it time to get rid of some gear?

Are you one of those photographers with a drawer (or several drawers) of camera gear that you don’t use and know you’ll probably never use?

Maybe it’s time to pass some of that on to someone who can use it.

You’ll have a chance to do that right at Spring Break this month. That’s because the folks from Recycle Your Camera for Kids will be at Spring Break to repurpose any gear you bring to the event.

They accept all gear, working or not. They are looking for cameras, lenses, tripods, monopods, chargers, cables, memory cards of all types, lighting kits, etc. Everything received this year will be delivered to Urban Ventures, a non-profit organization in South Minneapolis.
