For over 25 years, Howard Bahnemann was an important leader in the St. Paul Camera Club. He was best known for arranging programs and always being willing to help other photographers. Howard’s encouragement, patience, and kindness were great catalysts for SPCC members to extend their photographic skills. He was only 58 years old when he died in 1968. The following year, an award was established in his name honoring the best traditional image of the year. In 2003, Elsie Bahnemann, still active in the St. Paul Camera Club, passed away.
