Our first virtual program of the season will feature well-known photographer and frequent judge at our salons, John John Pennoyer. His topic will be “Seeing the Light.”
Rather than the customary emphasis on photographic equipment, John will focus on how to recognize the quality of light vs. quantity. He will explain how the color, angle, intensity, and placement of light contribute to the creation of award-winning images. His talk will be accompanied by many of his own photos that illustrate the concept and outcomes of good light management.
John’s well-known for his nature photography. He’s a long-time member of the Nikon Professional Services and very active in the Minnesota Nature Photography Club.
