In 1997, longtime St. Paul Camera Club member Julia Herl established an award for the year’s best images of animals. Julia was an avid photographer who used her skill during her frequent travels. SPCC members were able to enjoy these trips when Julia shared her slides with the club. Creating the Julia Herl Award is just another example of her grace and extraordinary kindness.
This award is for the best print and projected images of an animal.
